Subi Juneja – Principal Consultant
Subi is a seasoned business executive with experience across the board in running production teams and change projects. He specialises in continuous operational and business improvement using Lean Tools. His 30 years of experience in the field consists of 20 years in Australia and 10 years in India, finding ways to employ Lean tools & techniques to drive improvement.
Starting his career as process engineer, Subi progressed to hold senior management positions in operations, design and supply management. Quite early in his career, he received Lean training at Denso Japan (Toyota Group) and had the benefit of one-to-one learning from Japanese manufacturing engineers during his time there. Subi has also had the benefit from learning Lean implementation skills from US based consultants and colleagues.
Subi has worked with best in class, with comprehensive industry experience gained in businesses serving sectors such as automotive, white goods, pool pumps, moving air (HVAC), food, and plant components for the energy and mining sectors. The skills Subi offers are applicable to most business scenarios, going beyond the traditional Lean focus of manufacturing. He has successfully delivered KPI improvement to the tune of 30% and handled capital and NPI projects to the budgets up to $10m, and his experience also includes plant relocation, technology transfer and mergers of acquired businesses. He understands the Lean philosophy to the core and can successfully apply this to green-field and brown-field environments.
Anthony Element OAM – Associate Consultant
Anthony’s expertise in leadership and strategic planning is founded on his two decades in the RAAF, where he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his service in developing Aviation Management Systems.
Since leaving the military in 1988, Anthony has worked as a corporate executive with a number of multinationals, including ABB and Invensys, as a General Manager and Managing Director, running manufacturing operations in Australia, Hong Kong, China and Thailand.
All of these roles involved leading organisations through periods of profound change and transition.
In 1993 Anthony set up a Joint Venture in Shanghai, PRC, manufacturing distribution and small power transformers. This experience, along with his time in the dual roles of Managing Director of Fasco Motors (Thailand) Pty Ltd and President of Invensys (Thailand), has given Anthony a deep understanding of the cultural and human aspects of change management.
Because Anthony has led a number of companies through the successful implementation of Lean Enterprise, he has a thorough understanding of both the principles of Lean as well as the challenges facing a management team leading the Lean transformation process.
Since he left the corporate world in 2004, Anthony has worked with several SME’s in the areas of Lean Enterprise, Leadership Development and Strategic Planning.
Currently he serves on the boards of several companies and is a director of the Brisbane Independent School.
